Chedvah Weitz is the founder of Chai Reflectology.
In 2018 Chedvah made Aliyah during the week of independence Day in 2018.
Chedvah specifically chose this day -a significant day- making a purposeful intervention in her future; a day now forever stamped with both her personal, as well as her Country's national and historical independence.
"I wanted to be part of something greater than just making Aliyah or simply moving to the Country of Israel.
I wanted to make my ancient nation's history come to life. I wanted to "own" the day."
It had been the soft and phenomenal influence of her rabbis: Rabbi Jeremy Kurnedz and Rabbi David Milston at Midreshet Harova, "who granted me the great gift of loving my identity , my people and our history".
Mrs Weitz's (maiden name Cohen) dream when she made Aliyah was to help other people to gain their personal independence , to help people heal themselves, to learn to love themselves and to find health and balance within their lives in the most all-embracing country in the world.
How is Chedvah trying to achieve that?
"Well, I studied at a private college called Shelem in Jerusalem.
I studied aromatherapy, massage (holistic, swedish, deep tissue, lymphatic and medical massage), reflexology, doula, nutrition , physiology and anatomy.
I opened a clinic in Neve Daniel in 2019. In 2020 my husband and I left Israel and flew to America to see family. In the four and half months of being there, I was shocked and so fortunate to have spent that time working in America. In America, I would do home visits where I offered massage and reflexology.
On average I did about 10 clients per day. It was the pinnacle point in my professional career as it made me validate and appreciate my talent as a healer... a very unique and G-dly gift.
Returning to Israel brought great opportunities for me.
I wanted to launch my own business and own the "healing title". When I do anything I do it with a full heart.
With time and knowledge I grew my own individual therapy that is completely mine but also embedded with the knowledge of so many healers before me.
Its now , right here that I introduce you to my life: my Chai Reflectology.
My goal is that Chai Reflectology will be a curriculum for other healers to study and practice.
